It may only be about a meter wide, roughly 5% of the width of the fairway as a whole, but the stream
on the 7th has mystical properties. Golf balls are drawn into its waiting grasp with unerring regularity.
Its one of the wonders of the game of golf, the more you tell yourself not to stray left, the more you stray left.
The view from the tee is dominated, not by the immaculately manicured fairway, but by the narrow stream that poses
such a threat. Take the bull by the horns, hit a good drive to the right side of the fairway and you will be left with a flick
of a wedge to the green. However, for those more conservative players, a mid iron off the tee for position is the shot, followed by
a six or seven iron into the green. Whichever way you choose to play the hole, good ball striking is required on the second shot because
its highly likely that the line of your second shot will take you over the stream.
