Weather in Stalybridge

The ninth hole at Stamford Golf Club, a dog leg left. A right angle dog leg left. Its an easy(ish) lay up with a mid iron. But those feeling really brave can take on the trees and cut the corner, maybe even hit the green with an iron ? I've not seen many try it and the only person I have seen hit the green off the tee is our resident professional Mark Smith. A short hole that played conservatively can usually yeild a par, but if you are aggresive and take on the corner all manner of penalties could await. How will you play it ? Take a mid / long iron to the corner then a wedge into the green, or are you feeling brave .......
